Eric Plewinski
Principal Percussion
Eric Plewinski received his B.M. from the University of South Florida, and his M.M. from the University of Maryland, College Park. His principal teachers include Robert McCormick, Tony Ames, Eric Shin, and Jauvon Gilliam. Eric is a member of the Grammy-nominated Inscape Chamber Orchestra. As an active freelancer, he has performed with such groups as the National Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Virginia Opera, and Fort Worth Symphony. Eric has participated in multiple summer festivals including the National Orchestral Institute and the AIMS Festival in Graz, Austria. Eric lives in Annapolis, MD with his wife, Cara, and their French Bulldog, Waldo. When not playing music, he enjoys stand-up paddleboarding, golf, cooking, and traveling.
