Sara Gill
Violin II
Sara Gill grew up in central New York, and started violin in her elementary school orchestra program. A teacher and freelance performer, she graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Fredoia, with a Bachelor's degree; and later earned a Master’s degree from West Chester University on full assistantship. Past teachers include Marijane Wojtowitz, Maureen Yuen, Sylvia Ahramjian, and Odin Rathnam. Teaching experiences include studio teaching, orchestra directing, and chamber coaching at E.T. Richardson Middle School, The Community Music School, Washington Waldorf School, and Paint Branch High School. In addition to playing music, Sara loves to be outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, or canoeing.
