Siena Baker

Siena Baker is a graduate of the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC where she studied violin performance with Jody Gatwood. Upon graduating she went on to study with Olga Yanovich and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Education at Loyola University. Siena has performed at various renowned venues such Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall and the Kennedy Center. In 2015, Siena was one of two violinists from the Americas to compete in the 1st International Boris Goldstein Violin Competition in Bern, Switzerland. She has participated in various international music festivals in Germany and Austria. Siena is also a soprano and loves singing early music. In addition to performing with Apollo and freelancing in the DC area, Siena is the soprano section leader at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. When she's not making music, you can find her knitting, baking, or enjoying the outdoor.
